The Last Whisper of Autumn
They stood quietly beneath the fading autumn light,
their petals long gone, their colors weathered by time.
Once, they had danced with the summer breeze;
now, they carried only the quiet memories of what they had been.
The garden around them was slowly letting go.
Leaves were falling, the light was growing softer,
and winter was waiting somewhere beyond the evening mist.
But inside those fragile, forgotten pods,
tiny seeds were patiently holding on,
waiting for the warmth of another spring.
